Saltwater Zapf Co. operates in Kitsap County, WA and began as a marketing and design firm, specializing in small budget marketing. We then added publishing, branded apparel and finally consumer products. The new Saltwater Zapf continues to manage publishing efforts, but we now design under the trade name: Kool Rd Studios, and our products are available under the trade name: Five Threads.
Taffy O. Gallagher
President
Taffy specializes in providing cost-effective marketing solutions to start-up companies, non-profits and small businesses. With over fifteen years of diverse marketing and communications experience, she focuses on marketing plan development and implementation, including: design, copy writing, research, direct mail management and campaign development.
She has created several successful identities and marketing campaigns for many clients. Recent clients include the Trainer & Educator Conference, Tribal Early Care and Education Conference, Washington AfterSchool Association, Chinook Tribe, III Branches Law, Clear Mud Mediation, Educational Training Partners, Front Porch Software, Sagessesnce, Finn’s Fight, and the Washington Association for the Education of Young Children.
Before founding Saltwater Zapf Co. in 2002, Taffy spent five years in professional services
marketing, working for the third largest architectural firm in the world and an environmental engineering firm. Additionally, she spent over three years as a marketing and communications specialist concentrating on consumer marketing, market research, and graphic design within the telecommunications industry.
Aaron A. Zapf
Director of Operations
Aaron has over eighteen years of experience in a variety of information technology fields, specializing in CRM implementation, process modeling, and database design. He focuses on all aspects of technology related to the goals and objectives of Saltwater Zapf clients.
Recently, Aaron has managed technology budgets of over $4 million, including technology teams in a variety of areas.
Before co-founding Saltwater Zapf, Aaron spent four years in the manufacturing sector and four years in the the telecommunications industry, working on a variety of CRM and database applications.
